With this in mind Dynamic Office Solutions have acquired not 1 but 2 Tekcel CNC  Routers from us.  We asked David Caroll a few questions about how things have been since the installation, and this is what he had to say.

“To bring our furniture production in house we have made the very conscious decision to buy 2 Tekcel CNC routers from Complete CNC Solutions, the Tekcel EXR 2m x 3m for our acoustic panelling and the Tekcel EXL 2m x 4m for our upholstered furniture. We specifically chose these machines because of their cutting and material versatility, they can cut everything from solid timber to foam and felt.

I feel a little like the proverbial “kid in a sweet shop” because this opens up the design process for us, meaning we can literally create anything our minds can think of, new designs can go from conception to reality in no time at all and we can deliver bespoke items to clients within weeks rather than months.

We bought the Tekcel Knife Cutting System so for cutting acoustic panelling for their office sound proofing pods they make.

The training process for the Tekcel CNC routers lends itself beautifully to bringing new, untrained labour onto our team and we are able to train them in a matter of weeks, meaning our production and throughput will increase dramatically.
